The Truth about Tooth Whitening

Everyone loves a bright smile, but over time, your teeth may become discolored due to age, tobacco use, and food and drink such as coffee, tea and red wine. Teeth whitening can revive your white smile. Whitening products contain hydrogen peroxide, and reduce the appearance of stains over a series of treatments.

At Next Generation Dentistry, we offer Venus White Pro as a professional teeth-whitening option. This gel, with a 35% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, also contains potassium nitrate, which helps decrease tooth sensitivity associated with bleaching.  Dr. Kurzawa will create custom trays to fit your unique smile and ensure even bleaching, and the gel is used at home at your convenience. We recommend two 15-minute sessions a day for two weeks to see your desired results.  Treatments may have to be repeated if you notice the effects of your bleaching wear off over time. Additional bleaching gel is available for purchase at Next Generation Dentistry to enhance and maintain your whitening results.

Teeth whitening may leave you feeling more confident and happier with your smile. Contact Dr. John Kurzawa at Next Generation Dentistry for more information and to schedule a consultation today.
